Each zone runs independently

The whole grill folds shut into a 42×28×22 cm steel case that weighs 4 kg. The brass safety latch holds it closed during transport. The wood-grip handle makes it comfortable to carry. Fits in a car trunk without rearranging anything.

Galvanized steel liner inside each zone

The interior of each zone is lined with galvanized steel — protects the body from direct charcoal contact, holds heat more evenly, and extends the life of the grill. Not a feature you see on most portable grills at this price point.

FAQs

Do both zones have to run at the same time?

No. Each zone is completely independent — you can light one side only, use different amounts of charcoal in each, or let one side die down while the other stays hot. The removable charcoal racks make it easy to manage each zone separately.

How does it open exactly?

Release the brass latch on the front, then lift the top half back — it hinges open flat, placing the two zones side by side. The wood handle, which was on top when closed, swings back and becomes the rear support legs that hold the open grill stable.

What's the galvanized steel liner for?

It lines the inside of each zone and sits between the charcoal and the outer steel body. It protects the body from direct heat and ember contact, distributes heat more evenly across the cooking surface, and significantly extends the lifespan of the grill.

How many people can it feed?

With 38×48 cm of total cooking surface across both zones, it comfortably feeds 8–10 people in one round. More than enough for a family BBQ or a group rooftop night without cooking in shifts.

Is it portable without a carry bag?

Yes. The brass latch locks the two halves shut for transport, and the wood-grip handle makes it easy to carry by hand. At 4 kg it's still light enough to carry from the car to the spot without effort. Fits in any standard car trunk.

What type of charcoal works best?

Standard charcoal briquettes work perfectly in both zones. Natural lump charcoal lights faster and gives more heat. Load each zone to the level you need — the removable racks let you control heat per side without interference.

How do you clean it?

Let the grill cool fully. Lift out the two grates and wipe with a damp cloth — the nickel-chrome coating handles most residue easily. Remove the charcoal racks and knock out the ash. The galvanized liner wipes clean. The whole process takes a few minutes.
